Closing, or partially closing an open or pending position on TradeLocker is pretty straightforward.
How to close an open or pending position?
Move your cursor down to your portfolio and choose your Open positions tab. On the far right of every trade, there are four (4) available actions. If you want to close your position, click on this button:
When you decide to close a trade, a pop-up box will probably show and ask you to confirm your action. That is because you don’t have one-click trading enabled. When it is enabled, the message will not show. The message looks like this:
If you want, you can enable it right then when the pop-up shows. If not, you can always turn it on later.
If you want to close a pending position, firstly you need to open your pending positions, select the one you want to close and do the same actions as for the open positions.
How to partially close a position?
Move your cursor down to your portfolio and choose your Open positions tab. At the far right of every trade, there are four (4) available actions. If you want to partially close your position, click on this button:
After clicking, a window will pop-up, where you will be asked to put in the amount of lots you want to close:
Choose the amount and click ‘Close’ to confirm.
When you decide to partially close a trade, if you don’t have one-click trading enabled, the same pop-up box will show and ask you to confirm your action. Just like when you are closing the trade.
